Joey is a seasoned professional in the entertainment industry, with a career spanning acting, casting, and music. Starting out as a Background Actor, he quickly made a name for himself as the Stand-In and Quinn Double for Jerry O’Connell on the popular TV series Sliders. Joey also worked on the cult favorite Freaks and Geeks, where he served as Jason Segel’s Stand-In.
Joey’s passion for music saw him performing as a bass guitarist in various rock bands, including the locally renowned Danny Blitz & The Jet Age Hoods. However, balancing long hours on set with his music commitments became challenging. A friend in Extras Casting encouraged Joey to transition into casting, landing him a role as a Casting Assistant at the legendary Central Casting in Los Angeles.
